Information we use

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use it to respond, discuss your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange work you have asked about.

Our hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as your IP address and requested pages, to deliver and protect the website. The site has no contact form or analytics script.

Cookies

The website code does not set cookies or use advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information where it is necessary for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or to take steps towards a contract at your request. Basic technical information may be used for our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure. You do not have to email us, but we cannot respond to an enquiry without your contact details.

Sharing and retention

Website hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf so the site and email service can operate. We do not sell personal information. We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to deal with your request and any resulting work, and longer where required for legal or accounting records. Technical records are kept according to operational and security needs.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may be able to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of its use. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. To make a request, email euan@emdevelopment.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you have concerns about how your information is handled.
